From time to time Gilson service would observe a common problem and the need to provide for a consistent response in the field. It may have been an adjustment or a special repair part that was prescribed. This was in the day before e-mail was in common use and the World Wide Web was just getting started when Gilson was writing it's last chapter. The venerable service bulletin was the communication medium. Most of these are literally typewriter generated documents on letterhead stationary with illustrations as needed. Some came with other detailed attachments.

To help you better understand the history behind these machines I have scanned the archive and indexed the bulletins on this page. In some cases you will find several revisions of a single bulleting as they got revised for various reasons. A few had to come from a well worn set of microfiche however they still carry the message.

If you have any other such bulletins for the snowblower line in your possession I would be very grateful if you'd share copies with me so I can make them available.

At the botom of this page you will find current Service Bulletins that I am creating. These highlight significant issues owners are frequently encountering. Some of them are new developments as these machines grow in decades of age.
